Becky Richmond is a lifelong Republican, mother, and grandmother who has called Putnam County home since 2005, when she and her husband Gene settled here and became part of this community.
Becky is deeply rooted in Putnam County life. She is a member of River Ridge Church in Hurricane, where she serves as the Coffee Ministry Coordinator and volunteers with the RidgeStudents High group. She also volunteers at Christ's Kitchen and supports youth day events at the Putnam County Gun Club. She is also a member of the Putnam Parks and Recreation Board.
A proud supporter of the Second Amendment, Becky has been a member of the Putnam County Gun Club since the 1980s, and is a member of the NRA and the Midland Trail Friends of the NRA Banquet Committee. She is also a devoted supporter of the Gene Richmond Memorial Gun Match, which has raised tens of thousands of dollars for students pursuing college or trade school education.
Becky is a member of the Federated Republican Women of the Valley, reflecting her commitment to principled conservative leadership.
Becky is a community-minded conservative who believes that strong communities are built through involvement, service, and looking out for one another. Her decades of volunteer work in Putnam County reflect that commitment every day.
As a lifelong Republican, Becky stands firmly on the values that have defined the conservative movement — faith, family, the Second Amendment, and the belief that limited government serves people best.
Becky believes the executive committee exists to serve the voters and the candidates — not the other way around. She is committed to supporting open forums where voters can hear directly from candidates and make informed decisions.
Voters deserve clear, accessible information about changes to voting laws. Becky will work to ensure the committee actively communicates updates and changes so that every Republican in Putnam County is informed and empowered at the ballot box.
